Its important to maintain baby teeth(deciduous teeth) until they are due to exfoliate.(fallout).

As a parent it is imperative to keep the baby teeth in place in your children until they are due to naturally fall out.  In some cases though, the baby teeth do not want to exfoliate, and in some cases need help from your dentist to remove them, because they can then cause problems when adult teeth are trying to come through into the arch alignment.

Having the baby staying in situ may cause the adult teeth to be displaced.
